Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 August 2026

This is a draft prepared for internal review and hasn't yet been checked by a lawyer. It is not in effect and shouldn't be treated as binding until it's reviewed and approved by qualified legal counsel.

Introduction

The Noble Signal ("we", "us", "the app") is a gig management platform for musicians and bands. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our mobile application and related services. By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Your account

You need an account to use The Noble Signal. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to create an account. One person, one account — accounts aren't meant to be shared.

Using The Noble Signal

You can use the app to manage gigs, clients, rehearsals, repertoire and band finances. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it — including attempting to access another band's data without authorization, disrupting the service, or using it to store or share unlawful content.

Bands and members

A band is a shared workspace created by its leader. The leader can invite members, remove them, and manage the band's settings, including its currency, which is fixed when the band is created. Members who leave or are removed lose access to that band's data, but their personal account isn't affected.

User content

You retain ownership of the content you upload — photos, files, song lyrics, notes and similar material. By uploading it, you give us the limited right to store, process and display it back to you and your bandmates, solely to provide the service. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to upload what you upload.

Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our payment processor — we never see or store your full card details. Prices are shown in your local currency where available. New accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required. Billing cycles and cancellation are covered separately in our Subscription Terms.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Subscription settings; you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. If your trial ends without converting to a paid plan, your band moves to read-only mode rather than being locked out — you can still see your data, just not add to it, until you subscribe.

Intellectual property

The Noble Signal's name, design, and underlying software are our property or licensed to us. Nothing in these terms gives you rights to our brand or code beyond what's needed to use the app as intended.

Service availability

We aim to keep The Noble Signal available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to pause the service for maintenance, updates, or issues outside our control, and we'll try to keep disruption to a minimum.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. If a change is significant, we'll let you know before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
